The heart dog who inspired it all

Every veterinarian has a "heart dog" – that one special companion who changes everything. Scooter was mine.

From the moment he arrived as a scrappy little puppy in 2005, Scooter had an uncanny ability to sense when I needed him most. ScootScoot was my sidekick, my constant companion and my photography muse: an owner surrender as a parvo puppy, part chihuahua part terrier with a yappy little bark and a propensity to pee on the carpets.

He taught me that the best workflows aren't just about efficiency – they're about staying present for every patient, just like he stayed present for me through 15 incredible years.

This app carries his spirit: helping veterinary teams "scoot through their shifts" with confidence, clarity, and care. Because every animal deserves the same love and attention that Scooter brought to my life.
